Described by Sir Alex Ferguson as the "greatest annual dinner in the
football calendar” the 20th Anniversary football extravaganza will this
year honor David Beckham with the Legend of Football Award. The
event, which raises funds for their Music Industry Therapy Charity, is to
be held on Tuesday 1st September at The Grosvenor House Hotel,
London.
This exclusive night is heavily supported by both the Football and
Music industries, with all profits going to Charity. There will also be
surprise high level music talent appearing. This year’s Football
Extravaganza will celebrate 20 years of football and fundraising and to
date has raised nearly £7 million, enabling the charity to provide tens of
thousands of music therapy sessions for some of the UK’s most isolated
and vulnerable people.
